17 Again
I just watched 17 Again and O. M. G! It was just fantastic! Now, the first 25 minutes or so were just attrocious, but once Zac Efron got a hair cut it started picking up and never left off.
Not only that but it has one of the greatest credit sequences ever (at the end of the movie not the beginning; a choice that is happening in more and more movies these days, and a choice I thoroughly enjoy).
I'm sure if I saw it again I wouldn't have quite the same reaction I am having tonight but tonight I was on the edge of my seat. And was sweating profusely throughout the whole thing. It reminds me of watching Dawson's Creek in High School. Of the sort of movie going experiences that don't happen too often. I was just absorbed!
[As an aside, I kind of pegged the movie (from the previews) as a teen or childrens movie, but I think the target demographic was actually older people. Like me!]
