A job offer!
Well, I got a call today from an unknown number. I immediately thought it might be someone calling about a job. Apple?! No. Blockbuster?! No. 24 Hour Fitness?! Yes! They are highering for a receptionist position during the graveyard shift on Sunday and Monday nights. I would start at 11pm and get off at 6am.
I set up an interview for this Monday at 11:30am.
And so the question is: what do I think? And I am not sure. On the one hand I love my current schedule. On the other hand a graveyard receptionist job would probably have some free time (I will inquire into this) that I could spend either programming or reading about programming. And some money would be nice. Plus, I just kind of like being on odd schedules. I think right now I am leaning towards taking it. Just to see what it is like. But knowing me and jobs, that will probably change in the next four hours.
What do you guys think about it?

i think a job would be a great idea. 11-6am would be a royal pain in the ass-- i won't lie. but i think that, until you find something else, this would be really positive.
any update?

Not yet, probably not till I talk to them on Monday. I am going to go inquire at the Apple Store then to find out if I have missed my opportunity there or just need to be more patient.

I would not take it. You will find something with better hours than this if you look a little more.
