Being out of shape

Being out of shape has its advantages! Mainly that when you try and get into shape you see results quickly.

For example, I decided to start doing push ups and sit ups every day again. Well, I did them yesterday and today and now when I sit up or move my stomach muscles cry out. It is wonderful, a little reminder that I am trying to take care of myself, and that I am doing a good job!

I'm not looking forward to the day when/if I am no longer sore from a couple sit ups (hopefully that day will be in the next couple weeks!). I love feeling a little sore. It is wonderful!

    you know, you're right. sometimes it does feel really good to be sore. a few weeks ago some belgian beer got me pregnant, so i've been trying to run some more and such. yesterday, i played the wii for way too long, so my arm is sore, and my legs feel like i ran a marathon. after that initially "awww mannn" in the morning, it feels pretty good!
