Decisions about my new project

This is a follow up to my post titled A New Project Idea from 4 weeks ago.

I have thought about it some more, and I think I have decided that I am going to go with video.

I'm sorry Poppy, but I am pretty committed to actual, in person, recorded interviews. But I would be happy (and excited) to send you the questions every 5 years (and I will do this for anyone else, if they want) if you would like to answer them in writing as practice for your actual interview.

The thing that ultimately helped make up my mind was this comment by Omer, "I think that it would be really cool to see not only what I said in the past, but also my general way of behaving: how much I move my hands, whether I tilt my head when I think, &c."

Basically, if I just do audio there is a lot of information there that I can't ever get back. There is no sense in not doing the video if I can. I can always turn the video into audio only, and I can always transcribe them, but I can't go the other way.

This is kinda exciting, and I think video really is the way to go...you also get to see the person age which is kinda neat...

will you interview me?? Please!? I am really excited about the project (if you couldn't tell already...)

I get it. Even with my text preference, I agree that Omer made a strong point. Also, I didn't mean to imply that I should be one of the people you interview. But in case I am, I would of course love to see the questions in advance.
