Decisions, decisions, decisions!
Well, guys, I have an addiction. I am addicted to the board game Settlers of Catan.
I played 5 times this weekend and two weeks ago I played 4 times in one weekend (That was the first time I had ever played!).
Why not last weekend? Well, I don't actually own the game myself. But Keri's brother does own it. So anytime Keri and I go down to Colorado Springs I get to play. Here we are during a particularly frustrating game on Sunday:
So, I want to play some more. And some more. And some more.
This weekend is an obvious choice. However, Keri and I were planning on going backpacking. So, the question is, do we blow off backpacking and play Settlers of Catan, or do we go spend time in the good 'ol outdoors? Now, my knee has been bothering me a little bit lately. And I do want to reimage my computer (it's been a while!), so if I go to C. Springs I would have a chance to do that...
The game is just so fun! Omer and I are currently working on a way for us to play long distance, so I am sure by the time we finish that I'll have moved on to some other obsession, but if not it will be sweet!
Anyway, outdoors and hiking or indoors and board games? Oooh! Or maybe Erik should come too and we could be outdoors and hiking AND board gaming!

I hate that game, like seriously loath it!!
Probably because Steve was the one who tried to explain to me how to play then got annoyed when I didn't understand and basically took all my land and stuff so he could win...
But yeah, I hate it, and I am not allowed to play it with Steve anymore because apparently I am really bad...
So my vote is for the backpacking!

i have random good feelings about this game. not really sure why because I've never played it. i think omer explained it to me one time and i thought it sounded cool(but anything explained by that man usually does).
all this is irrelevant though because i think you should go backpacking. backpacking is excellent. especially when you have a pretty girl to take along. and your girl is extremely attractive, keri.

Also, I originally read "ultimate" in Flychipmunk's description of her friend as describing the friend herself, i.e., "I know this amazing, unbelievable frisbee-girl [half frisbee, half girl? At this point my reading starts to fall apart] that is obsessed with the game..."

I've decided to go to Colorado Springs. It is going to be rainy here in CO this weekend, and it is probably better for my rehab if I ease into more exercise.
