delicious bookmarks

I want to warn you that unless you like computers and what not you might not find this post very interesting. But read on! There is a great stalking tip at the end.

A service that is very popular on the internet these days is del.icio.us. It is a way to store your bookmarks online. I read quite a few blogs online, and lots of people are raving about del.icio.us. I never got it though. I thought it was a pain and not very sophisticated. It had one thing going for it, though. And that is its address. The address of del.icio.us is del.icio.us. It has a 'us', instead of a 'com' or 'org'. Pretty darn cool. I tend to switch back and forth between browsers a lot, so I was getting pretty frustrated at having to move my bookmarks back and forth. So I decided to give it a try. And man del.icio.us is fantastic! I love the way it does tagging. Much better than the other sites that I have tried, that do tagging. Very convenient. Now no matter where I go I can access my bookmarks. Fantastic.

The really fun thing, though, is that if you know someone's username you can see their bookmarks. So, for example, you can see what I have been bookmarking. I have peon peetie's and carpetner kathleen's and carpenter courtney's bookmarks in my rss reader. So now when they bookmark on the web, I can see where they've been. What fun!

If any of you have a del.icio.us account, post it in the comments and we'll stalk you, too!

i think this idea is boring. i don't have anything to say that's interesting at all--but i'm making this comment from benji's computer and he doesn't know!!!

now benji, can you post about something that i would be interested in?!?!?

    Wow... Weird...
I feel like I have a sixth sense or something. I _knew_ that Brittney wouldn't be into del.icio.us.

    It's like telepathy... or something.

So, I know nobody cares, but I made a realization just now... I finally figured out why people keep _thinking_ that I cheat... Its the fact that I keep commenting and commenting even if nobody responds. Like, a few posts down, I commented something like 8 times in a row... but, really, I just kept thinking of new things to say... Plus, online, whenever there's a silence, I have this urge to fill it... Apparently, online, I am an extrovert. Isn't that interesting?

    (And, the answer is: no.)

    That is all.

Well, maybe I should comment 8 times in a row myself.

the reason you have to comment a lot in a row is because i can't think of one thing to say!!!

Well, think some more about it Brittney. I'm sure that you can comment at some point in the next 9 hours!

Ok, so I have TWO questions:

    1. Did anyone get much sleep last night??

    2. Will I EVER hear the end of this?

    In answer to your questions:

    1. No. I always say that I'm going to get, like, 10 hours of sleep on weekends, and then end up getting far less because I hang out with friends and such.

    2. You will hear the end as soon as you want to. I think that we're all very excited, though.

I just wanted to clear up that I had TWO BACK to BACK questions earlier.

Wow! When you ask two questions back to back, that pretty much counts as asking three questions... maybe even four!
    Nice!

Hey, so I just realized this: Yesterday was November 11th... Isn't that crazy? 11/11! I love dates/times like that.

*sigh* I know... nobody cares about that last comment. But, it's a pretty big deal. This stuff happens less than once a month. The next one is in exactly a month: 12/12.

Omer! Are you serious here? Or are you really just talking about dates??

    strange.

though, really i don't see what is so special about those dates. 10/10, etc is probably just as good.

    13 November 2005 02:48pm UTC

Yeah, but that's the last cool date. I mean, it's not like there's a 13/13.

Alright, enough about dates! But I am confused by your comment keri. I mean i think it was fairly clear that you asked two back to back questions. Maybe you should go into a little bit more detail about the _asking_ of the questions, so that I can understand why you felt the need to point that out. I mean right now you just sound like a raving lunatic. I mean did you ask the first one, not wanting an answer? Why else would you immidiately ask another question? this is all so confusing?
