Domain name help

As some of you know I have had a little side project going on for sometime now at organizer.thescruffypirate.org. I have posted about it a couple times before.

Well, I am finally fixing all the bugs in it and making it so people can actually create accounts, and switching from using PHP to Ruby on Rails. It is a slow process because a) I don't know Ruby on Rails very well, and b) I am trying to do it right, from the get go. (In terms of design, organization, testing and things I have read about online)

Anyway, on to where you come in, I need help picking a name for the site. I want the name to mean something in english (unlike so many sites out there today) . I want to disassociate it from thescruffypirate.org, so the name shouldn't have anything to do with that. I preferably want a .com address. I am okay with adding a color to something. Preferably red or blue.

Courtney suggested 'Tool box' which I really liked, but unfortunately 'toolbox.com' is unsurprisingly not available.

Here is the list of names I have already tried:

  1. bluetoolbox (available as .net)
  2. redtoolbox
  3. greentoolbox
  4. toolbox
  5. redtools
  6. bluetools
  7. redtoolkit
  8. bluetoolkit
  9. thetoolbox
  10. pockettools
  11. usebox
  12. redusebox (available)
  13. blueusebox (available)

So I want suggestions. And to try and entice you to make lots and lots of suggestions, if I end up using your name, I will buy you dinner some where.

To help you out, here is a screenshot of what I have.

So let's hear 'em!

This is harder than I thought it would be. I searched domain names that I thought were silly like "Toogle" and "GetMyActTogether" and they were taken.

GoDaddy says these are all available:

    • benstools.com
    • benjistools.com
    • benjaminstools.com
    • box-o-tools.com
    • t00lbox.com
    • redtoolkit.com
    • twinkletools.com (that's a joke, I think)

Some thoughts (all available as anything .* unless otherwise noted) :
    • btoolbox
    • toolboks
    • toolblox
    • ptoolbox
    • tool-box (available at least as .net)
    • theetoolbox (read: the e-toolbox), available at least as .org)
    • e-toolbox (.org is for sale, no other common endings available)

Steve, I don't know why I would want a domain name about Benji Stool. That's just gross!

Robert. What does "IP it! Y the foo, L.B. Ox?" mean?

I'm not entirely sure what it means, but if you say it three times in a row L.B. Ox will appear. Or so I've been told, obviously I've never tried it, as he is carrying a large axe and looks upset.

Robert, since that LB Ox appears to be about an inch high, I'm not too worried about him. Like the Halloween episode in the 4th season of Buffy where the demon ended up being about a foot high, and Buffy just stepped on him.
