Holy cow! This was unexpected!
To quote Omer, "Today is like Christmas."
Sometime today Omer and I received an email from someone on the board of directors of the OpenID Foundation asking about our website OpenID Explained.
You may remember OpenID Explained from this ordeal in august of 2007.
Now, this email was in an of itself very exciting. Here was someone who was very involved with OpenID being excited about something we had done. People aren't usually excited about things we have done!
Then we got another email. And another. All told we received 5 emails about our website; with people giving us suggestions and telling us spelling errors and asking if they could translate it into Chinese and asking us if we could contribute to the main openid.net website.
Holy Cow! What just happened?
Then things really got out of controll:

That is a graph of our traffic for the last month. That's quite the jump yesterday!
Lots of people have bookmarked us on delicious.com!
Here are some of the things they are saying:
- "OpenID evangelisation site. Clear explanation, nice graphics. By a 2-person web shop."
- "A good clear explanation."
- "What a great way to explain what OpenID really is"
- "What the title says. Really."
Needless to say, Omer and I are pretty excited right now!
