I did it!
Well, I did it. I cut off my beard. Here are the gory details:
I'll put pictures up when I can take them without the flash. My chin is too white right now for a flash!
I miss the beard already. In a good sort of way. I am excited about being clean shaven but I realized when I looked in the mirror afterwards that I was meant to have a beard.
Well, not only did I shave my beard but I currently have my hair pulled back, which I have never done before. So, this is really a big adjustment!
As per my plans, I will try and maintain well trimmed facial hair for the next year (or 10.5 months, ha!). Well, see if it happens.
I still want to do a January 1st to January 1st growth, so worry not friends! It will most surely be long again in the future! But I like to play around with it!
I will say this: I love the feel of a freshly shaved face on a pillow. I am looking forward to bed tonight!
