I don't know if I should call this 'celebrity obsession' or 'Zooey Deschanel'
I am becoming increasingly more and more obsessed with celebrities. Never before have celebrities seemed so much larger than life. Before, like when I was growing up, it was mostly that I wanted to be like them. This is how it was with Harrison Ford. I thought he was a cool guy and I wanted to be like him. But now I want to meet one. I wonder what they are like in real life. What the think about. What the dream about. I am aware that the answers to these questions is probably very mundane and also maybe (in many cases) not things I want to hear.
Take for example Zooey Deschanel. I was reading this article earlier and I learned that she recorded her new album in Portland. And I got so excited. I got excited by the thought that she had been in the same town I grew up in. Just been in the same town!
Anyway, I just found out about a concert that she is having in San Francisco in a month and I just bought me some tickets. That's right. I am going to be in the same room/concert hall as a real life celebrity. I am so excited!
