People are telling me this dual presenting business is status quo.
Original Screenplay is up. And The King's Speech won. I think it is ridiculous that Inception didn't win. That was such an amazingly creative story.

Apparently everyone likes that Beauty and the Beast song, I've never been a fan. Usually, Disney sounds tracks are fun and awesome, but the Beauty and Beast soundtrack wasn't. In fact that was the problem with the whole move, it was waaaaay to serious.
"My Heart Will Go On" was a better Oscar winning song!

He looked to me like someone who hadn't slept for days. To be hosting the Academy award ceremony and up for best actor award, both for the first time--that could be a little stressful!

Great live blog, Benj! The Academy Awards were a lot of fun, but a bit of a let down... James Franco wasn't nearly as cute and charming in the live show as I had hoped. Maybe he was nervous? Or just an awkward person? Anyway, it was great to have so many people to watch with. Our little apartment was packed! :) It was a fun party, even though I didn't do very well in the competition. I used to do better when I never saw any of the movies!
My 2 favorite parts:
1. James Franco and Anne Hathaway's intro (first video on page)
2. The Auto tune segment featuring Harry Potter, Toy Story, and TWILIGHT!!
I also enjoyed all the references to the best movie of all time, Titanic! Once again, no movie even came close to winning as many awards. Yay, for Kate and Leo!
Speaking of Leo, I was definitely bummed that he wasn't there. Didn't he know his movie was nominated for best picture and won three awards??
Anyway, back to Titanic, I didn't appreciate all the negative comments about Celine Dion (you know who you are...). Talk about the best original song of all time! Nothing else has come close!
