Movies coming out in the next three months I want to see

Just like last time (So far I have seen 2 of those 17 movies), movies coming out soon that I want to see, ordered by my excitement for them:

  • Sunshine CleaningTrailer – Looks pretty darn cute. Has Amy Adams, in what appears to be the same character she has played in her last 5 movies. But if it ain't broke, don't fix it, right? I mean, just ask Will Ferrell.
  • He's Just Not That Into YouTrailer – I won't even begin to name who is in this movie. It is probably going to be crap, (as practically every romantic comedy since When Harry Met Sally has been), but it has 'Benj' written all over it.
  • 17 AgainTrailer – I already linked to this before but this time I thought I would mention that it has Michelle Trachtenberg and Matthew Perry.
  • AdventurelandTrailer – Has Bill from Freaks and Geeks and Ryan Reynolds. Plus the chick from Twilight. And it looks funny!
  • FanboysTrailer – It has the main character from Undeclared and is about Star Wars geeks.
  • Last House on the LeftTrailer – the trailer alone scared me.
  • The Year OneTrailer – I am pretty upset with Michael Cera currently because he is the only Arrested Development cast member not on board for the movie but I like Jack Black, and this looks funny!
  • The Brothers BloomTrailer – I mentioned this one in my last list. Apparently it got delayed or was only on limited release in one or two cities before. I still want to see it.
  • Confessions of a ShopaholicTrailer – Standard rom-com fair. But that Isla Fischer is a cutie.
  • Crank 2: High VoltageTrailer – So, the first time I watched Crank I loved it. The second time, not so much. If the sequel is at all like my first viewing of the first one this it is going to be awesome.
  • X-Men Origins: WolverineTrailer – The X-Men movies were so-so but Wolverine was the best part about them, so, we'll see.
  • EarthTrailer – The earth looks like a pretty amazing place!
  • WatchmenTrailer – I'm kind of getting tired of the whole super hero genre, but this looks pretty interesting.
  • ObsessedTrailer – Has BeyoncĂ©!
  • Fired UpTrailer – Definitely looks pretty ridiculous, but sometimes ridiculous is what you want.
  • The Ghosts of Girlfriends PastTrailer – That Matthew McConaughey is just tons of fun!
  • Night at the Musuem: Battle of the SmithsonianTrailer – Another Amy Adams movie. That's the only reason this is on the list.
  • PushTrailer – Looks vaguely interesting, but I'm more into it just because of Dakota Fanning. Boy, isn't she growing up?!
  • Friday the 13thTrailer – I do not remember being more scared after a movie (with the possible exception of The Others) than after I watched the original. I had to go home to my empty parents house and moved my chest of drawers across the door way and then literally got in my closet. The second time I watched it, it even got Peter to scream! This remake looks pretty scary too.
  • FightingTrailer – It has Channing Tatem who can be sort of hit or miss.
  • A Perfect Getaway – No trailer found – I like Steve Zahn and Timothy Olyphant. Will have to withhold further judgment until I can see a trailer.
  • State of PlayTrailer – I like Rachel McAdams and Ben Affleck. This looks like the right sort of role for Ben.

And movies that I don't want to see:

  • Land of the LostTrailer – The plot seems pretty silly, and the effects look awful. And I am hoping that Will Ferrell is going to do more things like Stranger Than Fiction as opposed to stuff like this.
  • UpTrailer – I'm getting a little tired of Pixar movies. I actively disliked 70% of Wall-E (Basically every part after he left earth) and I thought Ratatouille was pretty bland. They are getting a little too preachy. But, man, The Incredibles was great! Anyway, this doesn't look very interesting. And they make a gross scientific error in the physics of the balloons taking the house off the ground. And it drives me crazy everytime I see it!
  • Observe and ReportTrailer – I'm getting a little tired of obnoxious Seth Rogen. Let's hope he can do something else sometime soon!

Did I miss anything?

[I would have posted about the next 4 months, but I couldn't find any trailers for the movies in the 4th month. But July has a lot of good looking stuff, most specifically 500 Days of Summer. Stay tuned for future lists!]

I'm surprised you're excited about "State of Play" since it has Russell Crowe in it.

I want to see the second one too! I wish I had someone around who also wanted to see it...I'm glad you posted this b/c I have been wanting to go to the theater, but as usual, I didn't know a single movie that is out except the one I already mentioned. I rarely have the urge to go see a movie, especially when I have to pay lots of money for the viewing, so it is somewhat ironic that you posted all these movies, and I am excited about it!

I just realized these movies aren't out yet...so I am revising my sentence above to: ...I didn't know a single movie that is out/or will be released soon...

Why you hatin' on Pixar? I am kinda excited for UP! even though I have no idea what it is really about...that little boy scout is hilarious! And, WALL-E was adorable, no?

Anyhoo, I basically agree with your entire list, except for the Last House on the Left...I don't like scary movies...too much suspense.
