Omer: Man or Myth — trailer 2
In April of 2006 I had a great idea for a birthday present. I was going to make a movie about Omer. A documentary of sorts made up entirely of interviews with his friends, that captured who he was and what he meant to the world.
With the help of everyone, and specifically Blair and Joy, we were on track to have it done by his birthday (April 28th) until I tripped on the power cord to my external hard drive. But we didn't lose everything! Just all the editing. And we gave up with every intention of finishing it later.
And then I got busy. But recently I started feeling motivated about it again, and resumed working on it.
Here is another trailer for the documentary! It is most definitely safe for work, or anywhere.
It is a compilation of everytime people said Omer's name while being interviewed.
Now, let's get this straight, I am no where near being done with this thing. And really I hope to use the finished product to entice people to come to a CC reunion next summer. So, do not get your hopes up! It may never be finished.
But seriously, if this trailer doesn't get you excited for it, then I don't know what would. I'm dying to see the whole thing now!

that's awesome. it stops sounding like a real word (name in this case) after a while. like when you say arrow over and over and over; you forget if you know how to say it correctly.

Although a waitress that recently served Omer and ohters at IHOP might suggest you change the name of the film to "Omer: Man or Miss?"

So, sorry I haven't responded to this yet. I had a giant queue of messages to which I hadn't responded for about two months and somewhere in my head I had figured that I couldn't comment until I responded to those messages... which is completely illogical, in retrospect.
Anyway, this video (and the first trailer) are so amazingly... amazing. It's entirely probably that I've missed a plane looking for them (even though that doesn't actually make sense).
No, seriously, I've watched both clips lots of times, and even if the documentary doesn't ever get made, I'm still very, very happy!

But, if I really had to choose, like a few, the ones I would choose would be: all of them. And, if I absolutely had to choose one, like, if I was going to be stranded on a desert island with limited bandwidth and could bring with me only one part of the clip, I would choose: all of them.)
