Questions from poppy
What is more difficult for you: looking into someone's eyes when you are telling them how you feel, or looking into someone's eyes when they are telling you how they feel?
Looking into someone's eyes when they are telling me how they feel.
Think of the last time you were REALLY angry. WHY you were angry? Do you still feel the same way? If not, WHAT CHANGED to make you feel differently?
It probably had something to do with people not liking flickr. Or people going out to bars.
You are on a flight from Honolulu to Chicago non-stop. There is a fire in the back of the plane. You have enough time to make ONE phone call. Who do you call? What do you say to them?
What kind of fire is this. I guess I call my significant other and say goodbye. How about I write one text message and send it to many people. because it is only one message, but multiple recipients. Does that work?
You are at the doctor's office and he has just informed you that you have approximately one month to live. Do you tell anyone that you are going to die? What do you do with your remaining days?
I'd like to think that I wouldn't tell anyone. But I have to talk to much. I definitely wouldn't go back to work or anything. And I'd spend all my money. And I'd eat nothing but swedish fish.
You can have one of the following two things. Which do you choose? Why?
a. $2000
b. no more worries.$2000 isn't really a lot of money. So of course b.
You are walking down the street on your way to work. There is a dog drowning in the canal on the side of the street. Your boss has told you if you are late even once more, you will be fired. Do you take the time to save the dogs life? Why or Why not?
Who likes dogs anyway?
You are unfaithful to your spouse/significant other. Do you tell him/her? Why or Why not?
You should. But that isn't always what happens.
Your best friend confesses that he/she has feelings for you more then just friendship. He/she is falling in love with you. What do you do/say?
I think I would probably just sit there awkwardly.
Think of the last person who you know that died. You have the chance to give them 1 hour of life back, but you have to give up one year of yours. Do you do it? Why or Why not?
No.
Are you the kind of friend that you would want to have as a friend?
Probably not.
Does love = sex? sex = love?
"Well, no, duh." -- Poppies response. Sums it up I think.
Your boss tells your coworker that they have to let them go because of work shortage, and they are the newest employee. You have been there much longer. Your coworker has a family to support and no other means of income. Do you go to your boss and offer to leave the company? Why or Why not?
No. Not really sure why not.
When was the last time you told someone HONESTLY how you felt regardless of how difficult it was for you to say? Who was it? What did you have to tell the person?
I think I am good at being honest about my feelings. But this is a recent development.
What would be harder for you to tell a friend: that you love them, or that you do not love them back?
That I do not love them back. I am terrible at saying no.
What do you think would be the hardest thing for you to give up? Why would it be so hard to lose?
I really honestly can't think of an answer to this question.
Excluding romantic love, when was the last time you told someone you loved them? Who are they to you?
I can't think of a time. Unless my parents count.
Imagine: it is a dark night, you are alone, it is raining outside, you hear someone walking around outside your window. WHO do you wish was there with you?
It wouldn't be someone to protect me, it would be someone to be afraid with, someone to hold and be terrified with.
Would you give a homeless person CPR if they were dying? Why or Why not?
What kind of sick question is this?
You are holding onto your grandmother's hand and the hand of a newborn that you do not know as they hang over the edge of a cliff. You have to let one go to save the other. Who do you let fall to their death? What was your rationale for making the decision?
The grandmother. (both of mine are dead, but for the sake of this question, I will assume they aren't). The baby has more to see I guess. A more interesting question is whether to save a new born baby or an 8 year old.
Vanilla or Chocolate?
Vanilla.
When was the last time you were nice to someone and did NOT expect anything in return for it?
I don't feel like this is a rare event.
Which would you choose: true love with a guarantee of a broken heart, or to have never loved at all? Why?
To never have loved at all. Ignorance is bliss.

Every single time I'm on my motorcycle and wave at one of the 30 million scooters that are swarming all over Portland. I never expect them to wave back. About 98% of those guys are completely oblivious to what's going on around them. There's a small group of them that realize that people on two wheeled vehicles are supposed to be civilized and wave at each other.
Man I can't wait until it starts raining and those damn jellybean looking things get off the road. Same goes with Harleys.

Peon Peetie wants to get a moped. Are those in the category of jellybean looking things?
If so, you should make sure to wave to motorcyclists, Peetie.

Pfft, they're crappy questions. Don't make it like I made them up, Peon.
What I find really interesting is how everyone seems to interpret the really vague questions differently.
Also I think I'll start writing my name as "Poppies" for the possessive whenever possible now, Benji. I like it!

Don't give me any credit for that Poppy. It was entirely unintentional.
It appears that my fingers aren't connected to my brain.
