Saying au revoir to Mike
A wise man once told me that fish and visitors both smell after three days. It isn't that Mike is tired of me and he would never tell me so. It is just that having a visitor can be exhausting. So, I afraid I have overstayed my welcome. Which is convenient because today I return to London! But let me tell you, I could not have asked for a better host and visit. I feel like I got to see a little of France and of what Mike's life is like here. And most importantly of all I got to spend time with Mike. Doing what Mike and I do.
Thanks Mike for single handedly making my extended stay this side of the Atlantic worthwhile!

thanks for the post, buddy! it warmed my heart in a way that would have made something less strong explode into little bits. an apple, for example, would have definitely exploded.
and yeah i just called my own heart strong. conceited? definitely. but it's strong because of your love, my friend. hey wait... you're not angry with me for talking about our love on your website like this are you? you're right it's a little personal to be writing about in a comment. but don't be angry...
hey! let's get naked!!

You know, I really like that I have a group of friends where it is acceptable to say "Hey! Let's get naked!" in order to reduce awkwardness. (Especially when it practically never works.)
