    What is your ideal bedtime?
Probably around 3 or 4am. I like programming late at night. No distractions. It's quiet. It's perfect.

What do you like to wear (or not wear!!) to sleep in?
Boxers and an undershirt. I tried to like sleeping naked but ultimately decided I don't like it when my legs are touching each other or my arms are touching my torso.

What position do you sleep in?
Curled up on my side. Though I am trying to give sleeping on my back a try. But I usually only last about 3-5 minutes.

Are you a heavy sleeper or light?
I think I am a heavy sleeper, but I don't have much of a basis for it. I guess I don't notice being woken up often.

What kind of bed do you like? Firm mattress? Down comforter? Flannel Sheets? What?
I like a firm futon, with lots of heavy wool blankets and flannel sheets. I like to crawl into bed and feel the weight of the blankets on me.

Have any tricks for getting a good nights sleep?
Stay up until you can't stay up any longer. You'll fall asleep practically instantly!

    1. What is your ideal bedtime?
Either before noon or after noon, depending on whether we're talking about yesterday or today.

    2. What do you like to wear (or not wear!!) to sleep in?
I don't like to wear a ferocious bear.

    3. What position do you sleep in?
    Lying down, usually.

    4. Are you a heavy sleeper or light?
Well, I do sleep in a bulb, I guess.

    5. What kind of bed do you like? Firm mattress? Down comforter? Flannel Sheets? What?
My ultimate preference is a mattress on a floor that slides whenever you lean on it incorrectly. Oh, man, would I love that.

    6. Have any tricks for getting a good nights sleep?
It usually takes 2-3 tricks to get me to fall asleep.

I would like to respond to this Scruffy Six with mostly song lyrics. And a quote from a movie. That are generally related to the questions, but don't actually answer them.

    1. What is your ideal bedtime?

Hello sunshine, how are things going?
You come up everyday but I’m never showing.
I guess me and you don’t get along
With nothing in common, nothing’s wrong.

I spend a lot of time with the big white moon
Down in the cellar I’ll be drinking soon
I can’t help sleeping through the sunny day,
Tired in bed, but that’s okay.

    2. What do you like to wear (or not wear!!) to sleep in?

Oh pretty prince of parties, where do you get your clothes?
    They're made of snow.
Pretty party clothes crocheted of snow.

    3. What position do you sleep in?

It's not too bad. You won't be able to lie on your back for a few days. But then you can lie from any position, can't you?

    4. Are you a heavy sleeper or light?

Am I the reason why you tossed and turned last night?
Everything's such a blur, it didn't come out right.
All of the sudden it's cold and we're falling apart.
No, this can't be, please don't leave me alone in the dark.

    5. What kind of bed do you like? Firm mattress? Down comforter? Flannel Sheets? What?

    You remind me of home
A broken bed with dirty sheets
that creaks when I am shifting in my sleep

    6. Have any tricks for getting a good nights sleep?

If I couldn't sleep, could you sleep?
Could you paint me better off?
Could you sympathize with my needs?
I know you think I need a lot.

    1. What is your ideal bedtime?
    9:45-10:30p.m.
    2. What do you like to wear (or not wear!!) to sleep in?
If I am by myself I like to wear more b/c I am colder...I like sleeping nude, but often prefer to have pants on...it mostly depends on the temperature. I don't have the problem of skin touching when I sleep w/o clothes b/c of all the pillows I use...see below...
    3. What position do you sleep in?
I sleep on my side with a pillow between my thighs, a pillow between my feet and one for my arms (I don't always use the one for my arms).
    4. Are you a heavy sleeper or light?
    I can be both.
    5. What kind of bed do you like? Firm mattress? Down comforter? Flannel Sheets? What?
Memory foam; I can't sleep without covers...a sheet isn't enough.
    6. Have any tricks for getting a good nights sleep?
Meditate before bed; concentrate on breathing; stretch b4 bed (it is hard to sleep if you have aches and stretching helps relieve those).

    What is your ideal bedtime?

My ideal bedtime is around 12:20-12:30am. That's when I'm usually getting under my covers.

What do you like to wear (or not wear!!) to sleep in?

I like to wear boxers. On colder nights I wear a fake beard.
I don't like to wear socks to bed b/c I like to play footsie with the blankets.

What position do you sleep in?

I try to sleep on my back, but like benjamin, I only last 4-5 minutes. I usually turn over to my side and curl up into a little bean/fetal shape. But I usually decide that this position isn't manly enough. So before I fall asleep I turn over on my stomach, sprawl out as much as possible, and put my face in the pillow. Then I fart for added effect.

Are you a heavy sleeper or light?

I think I'm a light sleeper. But I like waking up in the middle of the night, because falling back asleep before the alarm goes off is a nice feeling. I could write poetry about that feeling.

What kind of bed do you like? Firm mattress? Down comforter? Flannel Sheets? What?

The mattress doesn't really matter. I just want a lot of blankets and a HUGE down comforter (but I usually don't have the second). I want the snuggle factor to be high.

Have any tricks for getting a good nights sleep?

Whiskey would probably be a great trick.

    1. What is your ideal bedtime?

If I could swing it -- 10pm. Just because if i went to bed then, I could get 8 hours of sleep and then get up at 6 and be a monster in the morning!

    2. What do you like to wear (or not wear!!) to sleep in?

My boxers and that's it! Anything else gets twisted or tangled on me throughout the night

    3. What position do you sleep in?

On my side, specifically my right side -- that way I direct my snoring away from my fiance.

    4. Are you a heavy sleeper or light?

Rock solid heavy -- I once fell asleep in the middle of a room on the wood floor of a barn while 50 people did the polka around me. (this is a true story)

    5. What kind of bed do you like? Firm mattress? Down comforter? Flannel Sheets? What?

All of the above -- and actually the more weight I can put on top of me -- i.e. heavy blankets, the better sleep I get.

    6. Have any tricks for getting a good nights sleep?

Nope I usually am asleep within moments of laying down. In fact my freshman year roommate used to get really pissed at me because sometimes I would fall asleep in the middle of telling a story.

    1. I don't know, whenever I get tired? Usually around 9:30 or 10..
    2. Depends on how hot it is...When it is cold outside I wear cotton pajama pants and a t-shirt, if it is hot outside...well, its hot!!
    3. I usually sleep on my side or my tummy, or a combination...sort of half on my side half on my tummy
    4. Depends on how tired I am. I used to be a really heavy sleeper but in recent years have become more sensitive to disturbances...
    5. I like my mattresses in between...not too hard, not too soft. I like lots of blankets and comforters, but I would say I like cotton sheets...or satin, I think I would love the feel of silk but I am so cheap that I have never actually slept on silk...I am sure it would be lovely though
    6. If I am really stressed out or have something on my mind I try to meditate, just sort of close my eyes, relax my muscles, and think of nothing at all...it helps me sleep because I can clear my head...

What is your ideal bedtime? That's a tough one... Probably 11:30 or 12:00.

What do you like to wear (or not wear!!) to sleep in? Pajama pants or shorts (depending on the season) and a t-shirt. Oh, and two pairs of socks (year round!)--my feet get cold while I sleep!

What position do you sleep in? On my stomach with my head turned to the right. If I sleep on my side, I'm more comfortable on my left side than my right.

Are you a heavy sleeper or light? I'm a pretty heavy sleeper!

What kind of bed do you like? Firm mattress? Down comforter? Flannel Sheets? What? I'm a pretty big fan of the mattress I have now--it's both soft and firm. I also really like soft sheets, fleece blankets, and my down comforter.

Have any tricks for getting a good nights sleep? If I read right before bed, I have a much easier time falling asleep.
