I snagged the old monitor from the basement off a computer we don't use anymore and I now have it hooked up to my laptop. This is the coolest thing ever. I can have php code up in one window and then the site up in another, or I can have a movie playing in one and other stuff in the other. It is fantastic! I never need leave my room again.

   You'll have to show me how to do that, if I can get a monitor from somewhere...
   Do you think the computer labs at CC would notice it if one of their computers suddenly didn't have a monitor?

   Slade: do you have a laptop?
   
   Both of you: I just plugged the second monitor in and then in Display Properties I went to settings and then clicked on the second rectangle (representing the second screen) with the big number two in it and the set the settings for it. Just stumbled accros it one day.
