Seriously?
Last Friday Keri and I went out to dinner with Keri's roommate, Sarrrah, and Sarrrah's father and Sarrah's boyfriend. We met Sarrrah's boyfriend (who was on bike, what a good citizen!) at the restaurant. Afterwards we were all heading back to our place to play board games so I offered to put the boyfriend's bike on my bike rack. When I put a bike in my bike rack I make sure to lock it up so the bike is as secure as possible.
When we arrived at the apartment complex, I got out, unlocked the bike, got the bike down off the roof and then we all went and played Pictionary.
(Speaking of which, if the word is 'adopt' and I say 'adopting' shouldn't I get it?)
Well, today Keri and I went out shopping to make her a birthday list (April 12th people! Get out your wrapping paper!) and while we were driving we heard something moving around on the top of my car. When we arrived at the shopping center (at least a 10 minute drive), I got out and checked, and I kid you not, there on the top of my car was my extra set of keys to Leeland.
I had left them there when I got the bike down two nights ago. Yeah, seriously. I left the keys to my car on top of it all weekend and then drove around town!
Lucky Leeland was still there!
I blame this all on my parents. I mean, I'm made up of their genes, aren't I?

It's because Boulder is such a great city with good-hearted people...no one would think of stealing your car.

Yeah, Dan went that direction as well. I just assumed no one found the keys.
Does that make me cynical?

It's your identity you have to worry about in Boulder, not your car.
