Site changes
The first thing you are going to notice while reading this post is that the layout has changed a bit. I decided to go for a much simpler layout. I wanted three things. I wanted dark text on a white background. I wanted lots of color. And I wanted things to be very simple. I think I have accomplished all three. sorry if you don't like it! A new one is coming along. :)
A couple more notes about the layout:
I developed in and tested for Mozilla based browsers. That means it won't quite work the same in Internet Explorer. But everything is still usable, at least. It is also broken in Safari because it doesn't support the :last-child CSS psuedo-element. So there might be some extra boxes.
I am not happy about this. I started rushing towards the end (as I always do) so I used some shortcuts that I shouldn't have. Oh well. Use Firefox (or if you have a Mac, use Camino!)
- Use the color of the comment links to see if something has been commented on. They change to blue when you click them and change back to red when a new comment is added.
Sorry if any of you ran into a rails error right after I uploaded the new layout. I forgot to update my database.
Now you may be wondering where the webcam went. Don't worry! It is now at the bottom of the page! So, head down there every now and then to check it out. It should be up more these days.
A page for recent updates (like captions, posts and comments) is coming!
Oh! I almost forgot! I fixed two very irritating bugs! It should now automatically log you back in if you check that button, and you can change your password.
Before if you created a new account it would log you in the first time, but never work again, or something. I don't really understand what was going on. But that should be all fixed! (though you will need to reset your password).

I took a screenshot, I don't have any webspace at the moment to upload it to though. If you want I could email it to you.
Although I'm using some really old version of firefox, 1.0.7, it looks like they are on 2 now so I guess I should update it.

Robert! How could you not have updated!? I am shocked. I eagerly await the updates to my favorite programs.
My browser is one of my most used programs. I probably use it at least 60% of the time I am on the computer. I mean what could you possibly use more?

I'm used to the programs telling me when there are updates available, I don't think it ever told me. Anyway, the weird lines are gone now. Although it did give me an error when I tried to look at the comments when I wasn't logged in.

i think it looks great. though i really dug the old blue one, especially the icon at the top, i really dig the speed of this one. it's amazing how much nicer things are when you don't have to wait for them.

It's so cute and happy! The only thing I miss is the webcam capture up higher--I don't get enough Benji now (despite seeing you just about every day!).
