Sleeping sucks!

So my dad found this article on polyphasic sleep which makes some good points.

It does two things wrong I think, but overall is incredibly convincing. First it says since no one has studied polyphasic sleep it must be bad. And then cites a bunch of studies on sleep in general or ones that are related. There are still no polyphasic specific studies mentioned.

It is the best piece I have read on polyphasic sleep.

It wasn't able to convince me and lately I have been feeling the urge to try it again. I will have to think about how I would get it to work with my job. I could take my naps at 3:30, 7:30 and 11:30 and I think that would work out and not get in the way.

But another option has come before me that I am going to try first. Courtney dared me to go to bed at 10 every night for a week and see how I feel. I love this idea, because even though I hate the act of waking up in the morning, I love being awake in the morning. The problem with this is if I try to go to bed at 10 tonight I will just lie there for hours bored out of my mind. So I am going to start with going to bed by 12 and then 11:30 then 11 and so on. I will be getting up at 6 every morning to make it so I am more tired for falling asleep. Then if I finally get to a 10 to 6 sort of schedule that would be great. The problem with this is that my apartment mates will not be going to be that early so it might be hard for me to fall asleep if stuff is going on. I'll have to figure this out...

I'll also have to figure out how the hell I am going to wake up at 6am.

Why would you want to get up at 6am?
