That time of year again
My birthday and Christmas are coming up! So, here is my wish list for the year!
While we are in the realm of impossible:
A new laptop. A 15" Macbook Pro. I need an Intel Chip so I can run XP through parallels and test in IE (the devil).
Though this is always a dangerous one to put on your lists because Apple always annouces new products in the first week of January.
- An iPhone. Internet everywhere! Though, it looks like my family might be switching to Verizon, not AT&T. Shoot!
- An apartment downtown
And the more serious requests:
- A new bicycle (mine isn't pleasant to ride)
- If that isn't possible, then my Dad's bike (with a tune up maybe?)
- Some other bicycle. A road bike, with curvy handlebars. And maybe the fancy gear shifter breaks!
- Saddle bags for a bike; I hope to do some bicycle commuting this year!
- The book Writing Apache Modules with Perl and C
- A new sweater. I like sweaters! Wool preferably. Durable, too?
- A sewing book or class voucher of some sort?
- Or sewing starter supplies
- A bicycle maintenance and repair book, or a class voucher
- A new desk. But I am minimalistic. I don't want any drawers or shelves or anything. Just a big surface. But it needs to have an adjustable height. A keyboard tray would be acceptable, but only if it had an adjustable height, too. Ergonomics are important, people!
- An Arm for my monitor
- A kitten
- A new pillow? Mine is getting low on feathers
- Another LaCie Brick 500gb hard drive. (They are cheaper than they were last year)
- A Cowboy style belt buckle. Maybe with a horse on it?
- A Ping Pong table
- A car top carrier (I'm running out of ideas)
It really is hard for me to think of things I want. For the most part, I am very easy to please. Give me my laptop and a place to sleep! The problem is that I am not very interested in the little things. I don't like a lot of clutter. So, when I do want something, it is often expensive. Which makes it hard to give.
What are things other people want? I need some help here! Small stuff!
