What if?
Well, sorry for the lack of updates, but my life has been pretty boring as of late. I could summarize life up pretty completely in 5 words: Work, running, and backpacking planning. I haven't been up to much else. But let me tell you! We've got some really awesome backpacking trips in store for this year and our backpacks are going to be light! And don't worry I've got another post planned about running, but in an attempt to not only talk about running I'm writing this filler post first...
Anyway, you know the kinds of movies where the main character is presented a different reality, one that would have happened had they made different choices in life? Like in It's a Wonderful Life? Well, I'm currently living my own little 3 day alternate reality.
Keri has abandoned me to go to a Physical Therapy conference and this is the first time I've been home alone here ever. And I think the first time I've been home alone in quite a few years. One of the last times I was home alone I decided to watch Friday the 13th with the neighbors and ended up moving my dresser in front of my bedroom door and hiding in the closet. So at least things are going better than that!
What would life be like if I lived by myself? Well, to be honest, so far kind of lonely! I like that normally I get to look forward to the wifey getting home in the evenings. That's how I know when I can stop working and have fun! Now, I haven't actually been home this whole time all alone feeling lonely, I've been on the phone quite a bit. But if I didn't have internet or a cell phone I'd probably be ripping my hair out right about now!
Anyway, I'll let you know once Keri is back if this alternate reality of mine makes me appreciate my life, or makes me want to go back in time and make different decisions... I wonder which of the two options it will be! This is a real nail-biter my friends!
I don't think Keri is going to be very excited about me making jokes about wanting to live a different life on my public blog, so I'd like to state, for the record, that she's the best ever.

I miss Keri, too! I hope she's having a great time and comes home soon. OK, I'll bite, what kind of decisions? Besides going out for track.
