I feel like I am just pissing people off. And I think it would be easier if it were best anything ever. I keep thinking of those. I give up.

I can't believe the worst state ever is Texas, what about Alabama or North Dakota? and Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights is so much fun!

I am going to change that one to V for Vendetta.
Worst. Movie. Ever. I don't know why it didn't occur to me before. I could barely sit through this movie. I not entirely sure why people like it so much. Besides Natalie Portman (who I hate) I have decided that people like to think there is a little V in themselves. But seriously, I don't think there wasn't a overdone painful cliche not seen in this film. I mean at least with most films that I disagree with people about vehemently, (Gladiator, Adaptation., Before Sunset, Save the Last Dance) I can see why they like them. But this one literally baffles me. I would compare it to The DaVinci Code (the book not the movie). *vomits* </rant>

Well, I'll give you that Nevada is giving it a run for its money. There is nothing in Nevada. But Texas is just so big! It makes me uncomfortable being in a state that big! If I want to escape it, it would take me at least 10 hours!

Also, do you think you can really say George W. Bush is the worst president ever? I'm not arguing that he's any good, just that I don't think we can really know if he's the all-time worst.
Personally, I'm willing to go with what's in America (The Book). (Which Kate got me recently. Thanks again, Kate!!) To quote: "Historians debate feverishly over who is the best president in American history. However, there is little disagreement over who was the worst. His name was Warren G. Harding (1921-1923), and he sucked." It goes on for a couple more paragraphs in that manner.

Warren G. Harding! He was one of Ohio's presidents! I've been to his house. We are almost more embarrassed of him than we are of that fatty William Howard Taft. Or that drunkard, Ulysses S. Grant. Or William Henry Harrison, who died of pneumonia because he didn't wear a coat to his inauguration. But really, Warren was the worst. Because who could support someone with the middle name "Gamaliel" ?? NO ONE.

Peter, America (The Book): A Citizen's Guide to Democracy Inaction was originally published in 2004. You can find it on Amazon here. I highly recommend the Teacher's Edition that came out in 2006 (which is the one that Kate got me). It's basically the same book, but filled with annotations from a real history professor. I'm actually learning things from this edition! Well, I guess there are some updates to the content of the book; the section with naked Supreme Court justices now includes John Roberts and Samuel Alito.
I hope I didn't confuse anyone into thinking I was talking about a real history book. I can't think of a real history book that would actually let Stephen Colbert rant in this manner:
The reasons why he sucked are many and, to be truthful, have been widely catalogued in the annals of presidential history. So, with your indulgence, I'd like to focus instead on the intensity of his sucking.
Warren G. Harding was a worthless piece of shit. Fuck him. His presidency was a taint, not just on the sense of "a stain on the office," but literally a taint -- the anatomical area between the the anus and the testicles.
I hate Warren G. Harding.
That is the entire section on President Harding. They aren't very nice to George W. Bush either, though. Just to be clear. But their venom is directly toward him more subtly.
