19 Eponymous Laws Of Software Development
Some of these laws apply to pretty much everything, not just software development. Some that are particularly true:
- Parkinson’s Law: Work expands so as to fill the time available for its completion.
- The Peter Principle: In a hierarchy, every employee tends to rise to his level of incompetence. (Not related to our peter, or is it? ;)
- Hofstadter's Law: A task always takes longer than you expect, even when you take into account Hofstadter’s Law.
