I think a better question might be, if Twilight brings about a new Buffy movie, will it be worth it? (I think Twilight might have to cure cancer or something before it can justify its presence in the world. Well, I guess it isn't that bad....)
I love how this article is skeptical that Joss has already written a screenplay for a Buffy movie. They clearly don't know anything about Joss Whedon. I mean, I'm willing to bet he's written a sequel to Serenity, and heaven knows that's never happening. Of course he's written a Buffy movie.
(Twilight premiered just down the street from where I live and I happened to walk by! It was really, really loud. Lots of screaming teenage girls.)

and the answer, poppy, is YES. given one condition. spike is somehow brought back from the land of the dead undead. if not, then, in his words: life is just this, it's living. life is just for living. you have to go on living. so at least one of us is living.

What!? Twilight (the movie, not the book, are you kidding me? I don't have time to read) was tons of fun! You can't go wrong with movies full of beautiful people and vampires!

I thought the book was one of the most poorly written books I've ever read. I haven't seen the movie yet.

I haven't seen the movie yet, but I've read all four of those horrible books. Twilight's not just poorly written (I'd like it a bit if that were all that was wrong with it). It reads like a do-it-yourself guide to abusive relationships. And it's getting shoved into the hands of every teenage girl in North America.
