What kind of person likes to program?
Here is another programming related link. Sorry for you non-programmers out there. What kind of person is best suited to enjoy programming?
This isn't what kind of person is best suited to (be good at) programming. Those articles depress me too much.
Anyway! A quote:
To enjoy the act of programming, one must have a unique and subtle blend of optimism and pessimism. Specifically, one must be eternally optimistic about the long term, and notoriously pessimistic about the short term.
In life, I am usually the opposite of this.

Clearly, then, you're meant to be a mathematician. :P

Uhh... I might be old-fashioned here, but I always figured that all of these general descriptors and such things can only claim likelihood that a person will enjoy or not enjoy, be or not be, &c., anything but are (to say the least) not as good with individual cases. In other words, I think that the fact that you enjoy the act of programming is a pretty strong piece of evidence to considering when trying to answer the question of whether or not you enjoy the act of programming, no matter what anyone else might have to say about your "type."
But, again, I'm no social scientist or anything, so I probably wouldn't know.
