Hi, my name is Benjamin Thomas.
1. I am 24 years old.

3. I consider myself a pretty unique guy.
4. I have been pretty cynical lately.
5. I have no job!.
6. I am from Portland, Oregon. Which is the greatest place on earth.
7. In my free time, I like to program, tag my music and movie files, dance and spend time with my friends.
8. I like meeting new people.
9. I am a bit of a slacker, but am genuinely interested in learning new things.
10. I like pop music. And am a bit of a snob about it. Mostly I think it is obnoxious to judge other peoples music tastes. Which is pretty common.
11. I am kind of a jack of all trades. Mostly due to the fact that I am practically incapable of completing a project I start. I love to start new projects.
12. My favorite movies are the ones with a cute girl in it.
13. I have a strange diet. And get really pissed off when people judge me for it.
I consider myself an amateur web developer. Thescruffypirate.org became my home in 2003. My favorite thing to do is fiddle with stylesheets and layouts. I am (as of the last year) a strict proponent of web standards and usability. I think simple is better.
My most prominent development influences are Mike Arrington (no, not the guy from TechCruch) and Daniel Bogan.
